Yesterday i was an idiot. I completely forgot Nicole's birthday, despite the fact that she called me at 11:30. This morning i remembered so i called her and left a message before i saw her at softball. She wasn't even bothered by it. I mean, she gets me a great gift (a Swedish massage that i still have to make an appointment for), and i forgot hers. I got her a gift certificate to Bath and Body Works, and she was very happy, but i still feel bad about forgetting. I'm so bad at remembering friends' birthdays.
I'm so tired from getting up early for hplc training, and then playing softball. I was exhausted, but i hit a triple, a double, and a homer. weeeeeeeeeee! I also caught 6 or 7 fly balls, including one in which i through out a person at first for a double play. Go me! Some chick on the other team said, "He catches everything. Someone shoot him in the head." I'll take that as a compliment. Tomorrow is more training, but it should be over by 3, so i can come home, go grocery shopping, clean up, and get ready for my baseball fantasy draft, which is Saturday morning. It looks like i'm gambling Saturday night with Jane, and i told Nicole i'd take her out for a birthday lunch on Sunday if she's free. But for tonight, all i see is a shower and sleep.

I hope you have a great vacation, even if it is just that. Maybe things will calm down at work by the time you get back? ~Denise~
I think you're a yuppie. And, isn't softball a girls game anyway? ( : I promise I'm not always this adolescent. Anyway, you're probably not a jerk being that you remembered and got her a gift anyway, even if you didn't think it was as super-duper cool as the one she got you, instead of just ignoring the situation and pretending like her birthday never happened. That sounds like something I'd do, really. I like me better when I drink excessively simply because I'm confused. Have a great day, yo.
